Selective Memory 117

I started celebrating my birthday, which is on the 23rd, a little early this year. Melissa and I spent the weekend photographing the fall colors and deserted beaches along Lake Michigan. This particular photograph comes from Silver Lake State Park, where it was actually hailing minutes after this picture was taken. The Little Sable Point Lighthouse is obscured by a water droplet on my lens. I thought the unplanned effect was pretty striking.
