Selective Memory 115

As I enjoyed a quiet and rainy weekend at home, ArtPrize 2013 drew to a close in Grand Rapids. Attached is an image taken at Site:Lab. The Last People by Stephen Hendee imagines a future natural history exhibit where humans have been "replaced by intelligent machines." Below is more info on this work and the award winners.

However, the big winner in my book was the screening of the 2013 Internet Cat Video Festival. Yes, this a thing. A very wonderful thing that, at points, had me laughing to the point of tears. You can learn more about the festival and view the videos below. C'mon, you know you want to watch cat videos for the next hour.
