With summer all wrapped up, it was a sunny and cool fall weekend in Michigan. We are less than two weeks out from ArtPrize, a national art competition in Grand Rapids where the top prize is decided by public vote. From September 19th to October 7th art literally takes over the city. If you live in the state I highly recommend setting aside a day to check it out. It isn't an art fair or traditional exhibition, I would best describe it as a giant art party that everyone is invited to. I will have three pieces showing and will include details about the venue next week. Not exactly sure when I will be there myself, but let me know if you are going and perhaps we can connect.
