
Fall leaves are slowing catching fire here... cider mills are overflowing with visitors.
I went to Detroit last night for the 1st Juried Exhibition at the newly formed Detroit Center for Contemporary Photography, where I had one piece on display. The attached image was taken right outside the gallery. Quite a raw space, although not by Detroit standards. Nestled in the Russell Industrial Center, this gallery is located in an artist's dream. The seven building complex was once home to the Murray Mfg. Company, an auto body supplier. Artists and galleries occupy much of the 2.2 million square feet of this enormous space.
