Spent a lovely, although somewhat wet and chilly, afternoon in Detroit and Ann Arbor. I was fortunate to catch a screening of Gregory Crewdson: Brief Encounters, a quiet and insightful documentary offering a look into Crewdson's motivation and working process. The film appears to be making its way around to select art theaters and museums.
