Selective Memory 075

I must admit to getting swept up in the holiday spirit this year. I didn't strap plush reindeer antlers to my Subaru or anything, I just really enjoyed the holiday treats and time with family and friends. Among the highlights were ice skating at Campus Martius in Detroit (I didn't fall down once this year) and visiting the Cranbrook Art Museum (From Here to There: Alec Soth's America is on exhibition). I also collected a number of books, many of which were presents to myself. Photographic Memory: The Album in the Age of Photography and The Missing Ink are a couple that I'm excited about (you can check them out below). Of course, I've barely cracked those open as my nose has been buried in a couple of Gillian Flynn novels all break.
