Selective Memory 019

I couldn't go to St. Louis without visiting the Gateway Arch.

Okay, I could have... and almost did. It wasn't on the "to do" list, since I didn't arrive with a list at all. But I walked several windy blocks that Friday morning just to get breakfast, and the arch was a couple of blocks further at that point. So, freshly fed and caffeinated I ended up at the base of the grand structure. It was an amazing vantage point and a dizzying view upwards. The plane that flew overhead was a small gift to this photographer.
