Tilt Gallery, located in the Grand Avenue Arts district here in Phoenix, is hosting their 2nd annual juried alternative process exhibition. There is no theme and most processes are welcome. Last year's exhibition, juried by France Scully Osterman, included 23 pieces from artists around the globe. Pictured is Christine Weller's A Private Eye. This year's juror is Christopher James, the author of The Book of Alternative Photographic Processes (which is essentially the Bible for alt process printers). The second edition of this text was just released this spring.
The deadline for entries for Photography Re-Imagined is June 16th and the exhibition runs from August 15th to September 19th, 2008. Visit the Tilt Gallery website to download a submission form.
