Selective Memory 257
This week's image is coming to you fresh from New York City Pride today.
The moment pictured, honoring the victims of the recent Orlando
nightclub shooting, was the most powerful and memorable moment of the
day for me. It was a reminder of why we march: to create solidarity,
encourage acceptance of difference, share our voices, and fight for
equal rights. It was a reminder of why LGBTQ activism is still so
important and how there is still progress to be made. I'm so proud to be
a part of this community, today and throughout the year. I also love
each of you in my network of friends, family, and colleagues for your
continued love and support.
